Sam Sharpe

Sam Sharpe is a PhD candidate studying evolutionary ecology and a staff member for InterConnect, an intersex support organization. They have been involved in trans and intersex activism since 2016, and are passionate about science communicaiton and facilitating a broader scope of conversations about sex and gender diversity. Sam will share some of their experiences as a former NCAA athlete as well as addressing widespread misconceptions about transgender and intersex athletes. Sam will speak from 6-7 PM. The remaining time is reserved for sharing and support. There is no need to RSVP to attend in person.
